Lovers looking for the first little stars

Hey. So, I am really sorry for this lack of posting lately, I hope I will finde more time for blogging soon. Well, this is a collar I made today. I wanted to create a piece for feminism, and what could be better than using a rookie tutorial and pompoms for that? (Okay, Pompoms have actually nothing to do with feminism, but hey, Pompoms! ). I am not sure how to pair it yet (code for: I am too lazy to leave the couch and have a look into my closet), but collars can be worn with everything!
How are you? How did you spend your weekend? I had planned an almost perfect weekend, but then something went wrong. It was amazing, though! I had a sleepover with my best buddy, and we created our perfect future... So we will buy an Island, hopefully soon, and we will have many unicorns and fairies and glittered rooms. I am actually dreaming about our island all the time... I will never stop believing that there are still some unicorns left on this planet (don't laugh.)! Am I the only one to dream of unicorns?
Okay, I am getting way to dreamy. I have to do some homework now (sucks.). So, my also-in-unicorns-believing-friends, live long and prosper!

Love,

Mary

Ah Bitchface. "Don't you realize that I am not listening to your boring stuff at all?!"
I actually didn't meant to bitchface in this picture... but I did.

Who shines white light and wants to show how everything still turns to gold.

Isn't this one totally awesome? I DIYed it today and I am so proud of it! I had this in my mind for two months, but I just never found the time. Finally, I made it today, and I am kinda proud! It's one of my favourite pieces now. I was very inspirated by the Rookie Style Nationwide, in Picture 41 there's a girl with the same one, and I was really fascinated by this picture!

Ah I ordered this dress a few days ago, and it arrived really soon after ordering it. I didn't expect it to arrive so quickly, so I was really surprised (I actually screamed out loud.) It's like super tight and I have to admit, I look kinda amazing wearing it...

Eep! I made a Led Zeppelin shirt! I have been a fan of Led Zeppelin since I first heard "Stairway to heaven". I love this tee - I used a transfer printer foil or something and it turned out amazing! The colors are wonderful and Led Zeppelin rocks the world.

A super fun Michael Schumacher shirt ( he's a Formula 1 guy, and some of the best one's ever. Kind of a german hero, or so.) I got it for fifty cents at our local thrift store.

Hey dudes. These are just some things I bought or made the past few days. I am really busy this week, so sorry for this lack of posting. I hope everything's okay with you guys!

Love,

Mary

Madness is the emergency exit

Hey lovelies! First of all, thank you so much dear new (and old) followers! You are the best crew I could wish for.
I've got a DIY for you today! Well, it's not even really DIY because it's so much self-explanatory. But let's pretend I am a super professional blogger and you guys do not know how to use a hot glue gun, so I will write a tutorial. (:

 DIY Glitter/junk/whatever hairclips

1. Supplies: You will need a hot glue gun, some hairclips, and jewels and junk. If you have a box where you keep all your junk and child-y stuff in, that would be just perfect.
2. Glue tha shit on.
3. Yeah you are actually done now, but here's some inspiration how you could decorate your hairclips. I love the second one in the picture, and the pompom one.
Yay you're finished! That was difficult. cough.

Some daily life stuff: I went to a huge dollar store yesterday and when I walked in, it felt like walking right into a treasure box. So many great junk and aah. I love dollar stores - so many awesome junk to craft with and everything is so cheap (which is basically the sense of a dollar store.). I bought pompoms, jewels, some bracelet stuff and - get this - 250 stickers. I already made a little collage. And today will be amazing because I will go to a party later and tomorrow my Hippie friends and I will have a sleepover! We will have so much fun, and we will be super creative, and we will bejewel our tights. Eep, I am so exited! In other news, I went to the cinema with my Dad yesterday. We saw "Skyfall" (Yay for Bond, James Bond!) and it was one of the most exiting and best movies I have ever seen.

And I made a nice Spock drawing, I think it turned out quite cool. I am currently totally crazy on working on my journal, I am drawing everything in there. Here are a few pictures.

I hope you are having an amazing day,

Love,

Mary

Obsession (and Trend spotting): Religious Prints

Ah yeah. This one's a difficult topic. I discussed it with my mum about two hours. Like, how can people wear religious stuff when they aren't believing in God or whoever? And I was like, how can people wear clothes if they aren't into fashion?
I love Statement tees, but only because I am wearing a tee with Buddha or whoever printed on, do I really have to believe in him? The thing is, this kind of print is not meant as a Statement (it can be, of course.). People are wearing it because it looks good, and they do not wanna tell anything with this top (besides being supercool.) . I hope you get what I mean.

Anyways, those prints are amazing. They can be kitsch and sassy at the same time!
The most common trend is cross print now - but there are many more ways of religious prints! Cross print is super cool, by the way. I also love Buddha or Shiva prints! Or *totally* kitschy Mother Mary prints.

Tee - Amazon
Dress - Motel
Creepers - Topshop

Everything from Topshop (Dress, Skirt, Jacket, Tee)
Shoes - Doc Martens

This one is full of cross prints. Wear the glitter top over the ruffled dress with the Biker Jacket to create a "breaking" look.

Maxi Skirt - Topshop
Skater skirt - Topshop
Over knee socks - Topshop
Mother Mary Sweater - Asos
Wedges - Asos

What do you think about religious prints? Do you own some pieces with those prints?

Love, Mary

I am proud of being weird, you know

Hey hey hey darlings. Sorry for this way too much daily life stuff on my blog lately - this will change soon and I will blog more about fashion. Let me tell you something about today's outfit. As you may have recognized, I love collars lately. I wear them with everything. Today, I was just pulling some stuff out of my closet, and it looked quite cool together, I guess. I first wore a jeans button-up with this, but it didn't felt good. When I saw myself in the mirror, I was like "Oh wait. This is way too normal. You look like a mainstream bitch." and got my awesome customized jeans jacket out. And it felt way better. Dressing different has become a huge part of my personality and life, I could never walk out the door in just some mainstream stuff (H&M, you know...) cuz I am celebrating weirdness with everything I do.
Enough of this. Today was (and will be) quite cool, we took a long long walk on the beach and will go to the swimming pool now (yay!). I took many more pictures. Dude, how much I love Oskar (my reflex camera, new readers!)! And I ate so much that I feel pretty sick now. Oh well...
Happy Halloween. I kinda forgot to say that last time. How did you celebrated Halloween?

Live long and prosper ( I am such a Star Trek Maniac...) or Bye Bye,

Mary
